Everyday I will complete an outdoor drawing of the night sky. I will begin with Polaris and add a new star each day for 117 days- the time in between my mother’s diagnosis with terminal cancer (12/3/07) and her death (4/26/08). My mother’s illness and death has left me feeling out of sync with the date and time. I will use this daily practice as way to reorient myself to the current moment utilizing the stars as a calendar.

Technical Difficulties!

The Reconstructing the Universe Blog is currently held up by technical difficulties. But rest assured, steps have been taken and we hope to be back in business soon with updated entries--better than EVER. The stars continue.
